High Speed Rail

High speed rail is quickly bringing the European nations together. These trains make it possible to have an alternative to flying. The trains are attractive, comfortable, but most of all they are fast and punctual.

The fastest and most famous trains belong to France, called the TGV. French TGVThey operate the fastest trains in scheduled service in the entire world. Germany has their high speed trains dubbed ICE. The Thalys high speed service links countries in western Europe including Holland, Belgium, Germany and France. Last, but not least, are the trains that travel under the English channel. The Eurostar trains link London with Paris and Brussels.
