Bridgnorth

Funicular
This funicular railway links the low town of Bridgnorth on the Severn River bank, with the high town of Bridgnorth by the castle remenents. It is also linked via a footpath to the Severn Valley heritage railway.

I had a very short layover from the SVR, so I only had a chance to photograph the the cliff railway, not ride it. It is said that this is the last operating cliff railway in the UK interior (all the others are at costal communities).
