Sacramento Transit

sac-lr01.jpg (44187 bytes)

Light Rail

Sacramento has a good system.  Part of RoW resides on a freeway that was never finished. The city has recently opened a few extensions with more planned. Sacramento uses automated vending machine to dispense Fare Tickets. Extensions to Folsom, South line and the Sacramento Amtrak station are complete. There are still talks about extending a line towards the Airport.

There are now 2 services/lines. Gold line runs from Folsom to the Train Station. The Blue line runs from Watt-I-80 to Meadowview
