Green Line

This is San Diego's third line. It starts in Santee taking over service from the Orange Line. It runs with the Orange line until Grossmont. There is has its own right-of-way through Mission Valley/. The line the only Subway station on the system at San Diego State University. At Mission San Diego it joins the original section of the Mission Valley Line. Before the Green Line opened, Blue Line train ended at Mission SD. The line continues with a stop at Qualcomm Stadium, and then ends at Old Town. This is the only line that does not go downtown. At Old Town you must transfer to Blue Line trains to head to San Diego.
