San Diego Transit
North County Sprinter

The Sprinter

In northern San Diego County, there is a new Diesel Light Rail Line called the Sprinter. It starts in Oceanside. Here there is a major bus depot along with San Diego Coaster Commuter Trains and Los Angeles Metrolink Commuter Trains.

The line then runs east along an active freight line to Escondido. It only breaks away from the freight line for a stop at Cal State San Marcos.
