San Jose Light Rail

When people think of San Jose, they think of suburban sprawl and the high tech industry. However, San Jose does maintain a three line Light Rail system. It connects the bedroom communities to the south with downtown and the industrial areas to the north. The system has since been extended to the northwest to Mt. View, east to Milpitas, and southwest to Winchester/ San Jose is served by two commuter rail systems. One is CalTrain to San Francisco, the other is the Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) to Stockton.
