Salt Lake City TRAX
Sandy: 9000S & 10000S

TRAX connects many communities to Salt Lake City. It terminates in Sandy. The entire line south of downtown (Starting at Ballpark station) lies on a railroad right-of-way. Freight trains do switching on the line in the wee early morning hours. There are many sidings along the route for the freight customers. Tracks continue beyond Sandy (10000 South), but electrification ends.
