Exchange Place

Exchange Place

This station lies right at the waterfront in Jersey City. It had been closed after 9/11/01 out of fear of flooding after the World Trade Center Collapse. It was reopened in June 2003, with longer platforms as well as new turnback switches to turn trains without going into NYC.
