MAX Operation

Vintage Trolley

Vintage Trolley started on the Portland MAX system in the early 1990's. They operate from a special one-track terminal near the Lloyd Center MAX station, then run downtown, ending at the MAX turnaround at 11th Ave. Trolleys typically operate Sunday's only, with no service during the winter months.

Car #512 leaving Galleria/SW10th. Note the Portland Streetcar northbound connection track in foreground (12/00 dig)	Car 512 is leaving the 11th Ave. loop returning to Lloyd Center. It is entering the MAX mainline as well as crossing the southbound City Streetcar tracks (12/00).

Same Railfan trip, the car is wrong-railing onto the eastbound track, (92 video.)	Normally these car don't get past Lloyd Center. Here that car is sitting on the tail tracks at the Cleveland Ave. Terminal in Gresham! (92 video.)
