NOTE: LINE IS CURRENTLY
SHUTDOWN
Seattle operates a
tourist trolley line as part of its bus transit system. It started as
just a short line along the Seattle Waterfront. Now it links the
International District/King St Station with Pioneer Square and the
Waterfront.
The line uses ex-Melbourne
Australia cars for service using high level platforms.
The line is currently shutdown due
the lack of maintenance facilities. However, the city plans to build a new
"carbarn" and possible extensions are in the planning stages.
