Catania Railway

Italy has many options for the transit enthusiast. There are metros and trams scattered around this country. The largest transit system is in Milan in northern Italy. I have only been to one city in Italy, Catania. It is on the opposite side of Milan, probably having one of the world's smallest metros.

The metro is 6 stations long, the light railway is a meter gauge line. The commuter trains run on the mainline network.

There are much bigger systems than Catania, I just haven't been to them yet.
