This is busy station. This station, and Gateway on the eastside, are major transit centers. Both stations also share the 3-track layout. In September of 2003, the red line was extended from city center to Beaverton TC. It utilizes the center track to turn-back. Prior to 9/03, there were several rush-hours short-turns that used this track. Just east of this station, the track run adjacent to OR-217 for the long climb up to Sunset Transit Center. In February 2009, WES Commuter rail started service to this station. WES uses a separate platform on the other side of the bus center. WES is a diesel multiple unit train running from Beaverton south to Tigard, Tualatin and ending in Wilsonville. Click here for WES Beaverton Transit Center
