Sanyo Line

The Sanyo Line, run by JR West, starts at Shin-Osaka and ends at Hakata. The northern end of the Sanyo Line is a direct extension of the original Tokaido Line, however it is much newer and the speeds are much faster. The southern end connects with the Kyushu Shinkansen.

If you like Japanese railroading consider joining the Japanese Railway Society.
