This is busy station. This and Gateway on the eastside are major transit centers. Both stations also share the 3-track layout. In September of 2003, the red line was extended from city Center to Beaverton TC. It utilizes the center track to turn-back. Prior to 9/03, there were several rush-hours short-turns that used this track. Just east of this station, the track run adjacent to OR-217 for the long climb up to Sunset Transit Center.
