This is a very important hub for the Westside line. Many bus lines converge here as well as a parking deck for cars. It is also a junction on two important traffic clogged freeways: US-26 and OR-217. It is an engineering marvel: On OR-217 the line heads north. Then comes the entrance to Sunset Transit Center. The line first turns west along US-26 then goes underneath the highway completing an 180 degree turn to head back east entering the station. After the station the line continues east at high speed to enter the tunnel.
