Montclair-Boonton

This is a "new" line. It is a combination of the old Montclair branch of the M&E and the old Erie Greenwood Lake branch known as the Boonton Line. In 2002 the two lines were combined with the construction via a 1500 foot of new trackage connecting the two lines in Montclair. Then the Boonton line was electrified to Great Notch allowing Mid-town Direct service on this route for the first time.
