Expo Line

This is the original Skytrain line. The original line opened in 1986 and went from New Westminster to downtown Vancouver. In downtown it utilizes an old Railroad tunnel. The tunnel was double-decked and two stations cut into it. The line ends at the Waterfront Terminal. 

The line was then extended in the early 1990's across the Fraser River to the City of Surrey. The bridge is very unique as it was purpose built only for Skytrain and is a very impressive Cable-Stayed bridge. The line's terminal it at King George.
