Boston Subway

The D-Line is often called the pre-cursor to modern-day Light Rail. The line leaves the downtown subway at Kenmore, then quick enters the right-of-way of the former NY Central. This line opened in 1959. It is the fastest of the 4 trolley lines since it runs on its own right-of-way with long distances between stops. The line ends at Riverside near the Hwy 128, Boston's loop highway.
