Chicago Commuters

METRA Electric is part of the old Illinois Central Electric Suburban trains. This is the busiest part of the METRA system, plus it is my favorite as I am a Traction fan!. There are 3 branches, plus the South Shore. All 4 lines start at Randolph Station. The South Chicago branch is the first to leave the main line. The Blue Island and South Shore leave at Kensington. The University Park branch continues south.
