1-Train

I use to go the Manhattan College which is at the end of the #1 Line at Van Cortlandt Park. That is why I have more photos of this line. Even today when I go to the city I park in this neighborhood to take the subway in. The elevated section in the Bronx and upper Manhattan have classic control houses. The 168th & 181st St. Stations have wonderful arched roofs. The high 125th St elevated station spans Manhattan Valley. 96th St is a classic transfer station. Times Square is a busy location. You can still see the original connection to the original line just north of the station. South Ferry Terminal is a great curve platform station. If you can't guess, this is my favorite subway route!
