Vintage Subway |
The Lo-V is a IRT Classic. They plied along the rails for the IRT for many decades. They are called Lo-V because they were the first cars equipped with low-voltage through the motorman's controller. Prior the controller had the full line voltage of 600 Vdc. This was dangerous for the motorman, hence the Lo-V's.
