This is probably the most confusing transfer station in the entire subway system. There are 4 trunk lines that meet here each under different streets. They are connected together via station platforms and ramps going everywhere. # of the 4 stations are called Fulton, the 4th station is Broadway-Nassau. There is a current project to build a mega station as part of the lower Manhattan redevelopment. It is to make the transfers easier, plus add transfers to the nearby N, R trains as well as PATH trains. All connected by a single concourse.
