Midosuji Line

This is Kyoto's first subway line. It is a North-South Line connecting Kyoto JR station at Umeda, Tennoji and Namba and Shin-Osaka railway stations as well. Because of this it is Osaka's busiest  subway line. This line runs the longest trains on the system at 9 cars. The parallel Yotsubashi Line was built as a pressure relief line.
