In 2004 the famous tight 'S' curve at Harrison was straighten out. No longer to trains snake around at 10mph. Now they coast over a parking lot at 25mph. Just south of the curve the line joins the original South Side Elevated Alley right-of-way. This section between here and Roosevelt Road gives a strong sense of what is meant by Alley 'L', hence featured here.
